"India Eradicated Extreme Poverty”- USA Report





A recent report from a USA firm (The Brooking Institution) report declared that India eradicated extreme poverty.


As per global standards, when a huge country like India, China, and more reduces its extreme poverty to below 3% of its population, it is said that that country achieved success in removing extreme poverty.


In the last 2 decades, the Indian government has brought many policies and schemes to give employment to its people and also provided loans with no interest for starting a business which resulted in this huge success.


India is a country of 1.4 billion population and achieving this goal is a huge milestone toward achieving developed country status from developing.


India achieved an 8.4% growth rate.
