Top 3 ways to get freelancing clients as an IT Professional?

As an IT Professional if you are willing to get some freelancing work then getting clients is one of the trickiest tasks and with my experience in freelancing for 2 years I can say that you will get clients mostly by below 3 ways only -

1)Personal Connections - If you worked in any company in the past and have some connections there then many times your colleagues ask you for some help in their projects and if you have good knowledge in your domain then they can refer you to their connections also.

2)LinkedIn - If you are active on LinkedIn and posting content related to your domain then many people who are in your connection or follow you can approach you if need your help.

3)Freelancing Portals - Freelancing portals like Upwork and Freelancer can also help you to get freelancing clients, but the only downside is to frequently check for work and apply for them.
